The internet is a vast and mainly untouched resource for online business opportunities. Although there are several scams, most are online businesses are not scams but are in fact just people like you, who have joined some opportunity and then have a fake it til they make it mentality.

The online business opportunities in the home based business sector of the internet can be confusing with most of the advertising programs out there trying to get you to change your program into some get rich program, just a little doubt is all these websites need in order to get a response. You will soon learn that most of these online business opportunities lack is attention on GOOGLE, a real system, and more importantly, customers in the end. They are usually made up of people trying some get rich program for a month or two, then when the buckets of cash do not fall on their heads, they will change to another program or give up all together. I know I flopped more than a few times until I found that purchasing customers instead of leads made a better business model.

If you have your own work from home business opportunity and are looking at keyword research for your SEO (search engine optimization) to obtain business opportunity leads, you might just want to look at Googles’ keyword research tool!

Wordtracker is currently the one used by most people but you have to purchase it. Here is a little bit of a comparison!

If I remember right, I once looked at trying Googles’ tool for keyword comparisons but it would only show a bar graph. If you get in and look at it now, it still has a graph but it will also give you numbers for the previous month and average of the last twelve months. It gives you a list of the most relevant keyword phrases as well. That is all I care about! Obviously, results that are drawn from the Google search engine contain much higher numbers than other keyword research tools but Google also has almost 90% of all search engine advertising!

Wordtracker from what I understand, scrapes the data from people using Dogpile and Metacrawler. Not
many people in comparison are using these two search engines!

If you make side by side comparisons between the two, again statistics vary greatly. Google will show more robust numbers in the results. This would make sense just because of the vastly different numbers each one is scraping their results from. Again, Google “owns” the search engine advertising out there on the internet. The numbers they produce “will” be much higher. I am guessing the results would be much more accurate as well.

If you are indeed wanting to target specific work at home business opportunity leads, I believe going with the monster who owns the internet right now would be the way to go! I believe they probably have the more accurate tool!

There are several directories that will accept your article and place them on their sites.

One really great benefit of writing articles is that webmasters will want to  grab the article and put in on their site to generate some site content, which is ok as long as the webmaster leaves the resource box intact which will give a link back to the article directory and will also give you, the writer links back to your business opportunity or websites.

There are several ways to write great articles, one way the web surfers really go for is top lists, like “10 reasons your business opportunity is failing” or “5 great ways to promote your business opportunity“. These are just some examples and the different titles and articles are unlimited.

You should be keyword specific in your articles to what your business opportunity is about. ie your product or service and how it can help the reader to better themselves in their endevour.

The response to your offer will depend on what the offer is about. It is a numbers game, no doubt, because everyone in the traffic exchange is there for the same reason. to sell you an opportunity of product. what happens most of the time is you will spend your time surfing and when all is said and done, you will have almost no signups to your program. It is not necessarily that your program is not any good. It is just the the traffic generated is not targeted for your particular business or product. again it is a numbers game. the more hits you get to your website means the more purchases or signups you get for your product or business opportunity.

The Question is not whether or not to use a traffic exchange, but how to get the amount of traffic needed to view your site before you get an action.

I will not really cover the aspects of purchasing hits since I do not ever actually purchase any hit myself, because it is too easy to get hit using the other two methods.
